SCAF is a training body that oversees officials that officiate high school swimming in the Southern California area. Members of SCAF enforce NFHS rules at all high school meets and participate in CIF (California Interscholastic Federation). SCAF is split into areas separated by geographic location: Orange, Los Angeles, Citrus, Foothill, North Coast, Inland, and Channel. Each area of SCAF has its own board of directors and assignor while applying the NFHS rule rules and state rules interpretations.
